Managing your linked email accounts and providers.
Adding Accounts
You can link various types of email accounts as sources for invoice extraction:
Google Accounts
Click the "Connect Google Account" button and follow the Google authentication flow to grant GetInvoice permission to access your emails.
Microsoft Accounts
Click the "Connect Microsoft Account" button and follow the Microsoft authentication flow.
IMAP Accounts
For other email providers (like Yahoo, Zoho, Fastmail, ProtonMail, etc.), click the "Connect IMAP Account" button. You will need to provide:
- Your email address
- Your email password (or an app-specific password if required by your provider)
- IMAP Host (e.g.,
imap.mail.yahoo.com
) - IMAP Port (usually
993
for SSL/TLS)
We provide presets for common providers to simplify this process. Select your provider from the dropdown, and the host/port fields will be pre-filled.
App Passwords
Some email providers (like Gmail, Outlook, ProtonMail) require you to generate an "app password" specifically for third-party applications like GetInvoice, instead of using your main login password. Please consult your email provider's documentation on how to create one if the connection fails with your regular password.
Managing Accounts
Each connected account is displayed as a card. You can manage a connected account from the Account Settings.
Information Displayed
For each account, you might see:
- Provider Logo (Google, Microsoft or IMAP)
- Email Address
- Last Fetch Time: When GetInvoice last scanned the account for invoices.
If you click an email account, this will filter the invoices table to only show invoices from that account.
